HOW IT WORKS
Gaskets are flat mechanical seals designed to sit between two surfaces under pressure. There can be hundreds of gaskets in your vehicle, and a gasket maker or sealant can provide an easy and low-cost replacement alternative. Gasket makers are created for specific applications, so it’s important to ensure you have the right one for the right job – and that will depend on the vehicle part, desired use and operating temperature.
OUR RANGE
We have a great range of silicone gasket makers, including the V-tech temperature grey silicone gasket sealant. This product is used to repair a damaged or broken gasket and, in some cases, can replace the gasket entirely.
MANUFACTURE
RTV gasket maker is specially formulated for heavy duty automotive applications from a two component silicone rubber combination.
RTV stands for Room-Temperature-Vulcanising meaning when applied it forms a gasket in place that is flexible but resists cracking or leaking.
