HOW IT WORKS
The brake is potentially the most important safety feature in any vehicle. The brake pads provide a buffer between the calliper pistons and the rotor that attaches to the wheel and causes the vehicle to slow when the brake is pressed. Given most drivers will hit the brake hundreds of time in a week if not day, that’s a lot of work. Brake pads need to be checked and replaced regularly.

MANUFACTURE
Brake pads are made of two elements – the backing plate (made of steel) and the composite Kevlar pad.
The formulation of the pad ensures its performance – its ability to handle temperature and water, to wear smoothly over an extended period of time and of course to bring the vehicle safely to a stop.
